Luke Eisen is a Juris Doctor candidate entering his third year at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law with a background in environmental and Indigenous law.

In the summer of 2024, Luke completed a legal internship with the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, where he conducted research on Aboriginal rights jurisprudence, drafted band by-laws, and delivered legal presentations to Chief and Council.

The following summer, he joined the Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA) as a summer student and now continues at CELA as a Practice Placement Student. In this role, he has co-led research on an Application for Review under the Environmental Bill of Rights, prepared several legal memoranda, and contributed to a PFAS/CEPA policy project. He has also supported numerous summary advice files involving direct client communication.

Beyond his casework and research, Luke has presented on environmental law topics at the Oakville Rotary Club and at the University of Toronto’s Law Youth Summer Program for high school students.

In August 2026, Luke will continue his work with CELA as an Articling Student.
