AI image generation tools are being used in all industries and disciplines, and it is important that faculty/students take advantage of these time saving tools. It can be very difficult to conceptualize and share an idea or an experience, and AI image generation tools can be helpful to express concepts quickly and provide iterative refinements as you tailor input prompts. Participants will review Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, and Freepik and their pros/cons, experiment on their own devices, and consider how they might use AI image generations specifically for their courses. Participants will leave with an exercises they can use in their own courses to get students to experiment with AI image generation tools.
