Rajinder Sahota is a Deputy Executive Officer, the California Air Resources Board. Her portfolio includes many of the state’s signature climate programs such as the AB 32 Climate Change Scoping Plan, Cap-and-Invest Program, Low Carbon Fuels Standard, Climate Data and Risk Disclosure rules, carbon dioxide removal policy and regulations, fuel specifications, and several other fuels and energy programs. Her portfolio of duties requires close coordination with sister energy and environmental agencies, and she represents California in national and international discussions on the state’s climate and energy policies. Rajinder also oversees CARB’s efforts on air pollution and climate research, and ways to protect public health and closing community health disparities.
