                                                    Sarah has spent over fifteen years working in the energy industry in a range of technical, commercial, strategy, and integration roles.  This broad experience helped her develop a passion of tackling complex, multifaceted problems like finding actionable solutions to address energy transition needs. Sarah began her career after receiving her PhD in Geochemistry from the University of Michigan. She has recently broadened her career with a Master’s degree from George Mason University focused on conflict analysis and resolution. This field has allowed her to incorporate human behavior and organizational conflict lens when evaluating climate solutions. She currently works in Shell’s Low Carbon Solutions business, evaluating how novel DAC technologies could be integrated into future carbon removal and carbon feedstock projects that provide energy products with lower carbon intensity.
