Richard A. DiClaudio is a private equity and operating executive with over three decades of experience leading and investing in the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. He currently serves as President and CEO of the Energy Innovation Center Institute (EICI) and the Infrastructure Academy™ in Pittsburgh, and as Managing Director and CEO of Bedford Management Partners, a private capital and advisory firm focused on power systems for critical and digital infrastructure in the AI era.

Earlier in his career, Rich served as CEO of Blue Tip Energy Partners (a $320 mm AUM energy PE firm) and EVP & COO of the Hillman Company, where he helped lead billions in investments, having served on their investment committee. He and his Bedford partners have overseen $4.0 billion in AUM in aggregate.

Rich is widely recognized for his leadership in developing workforce strategies at scale for the energy, power, and critical infrastructure industries and for pioneering integrated on-site power systems that combine natural gas, renewables, and advanced SMR technologies for AI data centers and critical infrastructure.

Rich serves on several boards, including UPMC Health Plan ($18B annual revenue), St. Vincent College, the Vatican Observatory, Redfish, and others. He also formerly advised the Vatican Bank and several ultra-high AUM investing firms. He frequently lectures and testifies on energy, power, grid, infrastructure, workforce, and AI both in the U.S. and abroad.
