Scottie has over 20 years of project management experience, including 10+ yearsin the oil and gas industry. His oil and gas background includes time spent inAccounting, Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Planning, and IT. Before movinginto consulting, his career highlights included managing a capital budget of +$4billion, scheduling 20+ rigs and 10+ frac crews, managing a joint-venture partner,and designing repeatable processes for budgeting and financial tools.

From there, Scottie moved into Corporate Planning helping align financial toolsand processes across the organization and then into IT/Data to align financialdata with operational data. During his time working in IT and a largeindependent oil and gas operator, he helped establish data governance and datamanagement programs, processes to support a growing data warehouse, and acentral reporting team.

In 2020, Scottie moved into consulting with a focus on data warehousemigrations, designing and implementing data management/governanceprograms, and system implementations. He has managed +10 data warehousemigrations, he has been involved in +15 data projects involving advancedanalytics and machine learning, and he has handled multiple systemimplementations and/or upgrades. His experience includes tailoring projects fororganizations across 10 different industries, five Fortune 500 companies, newstartups, and private equity backed organizations.
