Ali Sajedian is a Ph.D. Research Student in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at West Virginia University with over 15 years of experience as a Data Scientist and AI specialist in the oil and gas industry. His work focuses on integrating AI, digital twins, and real-time sensor analytics to optimize flow assurance, production, and pipeline monitoring. He developed MidStreamAI, an AI-powered platform for real-time leak detection and operational optimization. Previously, he led digital oilfield initiatives at SINOPEC. Ali has presented at major conferences including ATCE 2025 and SHALE INSIGHT and has received multiple industry awards.
