Raymond Mitten is an Executive Energy Consultant with more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation and artificial intelligence across the energy sectors. As Vice President of Advanced Digital Technologies at Imperative Chemical Partners, he led enterprise AI, data governance, and cybersecurity strategy behind a multi-million dollar transformation program, and built the data sharing and API modernization strategy to connect more than 800 enterprise customers, including ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and BP, across the digital oilfield chemical management ecosystem. Earlier in his career, Raymond spent over a decade at ConocoPhillips leading digital transformation across Lower 48 operations, delivering solutions spanning ERP modernization, cloud and data infrastructure, streaming data pipelines, predictive maintenance, and chemical services management. Before that, he spent 14 years at StatSoft, where he helped shape the STATISTICA product line, contributing to a suite of predictive analytics technologies that became foundational to much of modern AI and machine learning. Raymond is also a published contributor to award-winning data mining publications and an accomplished public speaker and writer on digital transformation and innovation across the energy sector. He is a credited contributor to Practical Text Mining and Statistical Analysis for Non-Structured Text Data Applications, winner of a 2012 PROSE Award, and has authored technical articles and white papers on foundational technologies for AI in Oil & Gas, pigging optimization, streaming data and much more. In 2026, Raymond was awarded as a finalist for the HoustonCIO ORBIE Award, recognizing excellence in technology leadership, team building, and organizational transformation. He has carried that same work to the stage, speaking on building data foundations across multi-operator assets at the AI in Energy Summit and on generative AI in practice at Digital Transformation Expo North America.
