Dr. Max Spolaor is Chief Architect at KeyLogic, where he leads AI strategy and development supporting the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). He holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at West Virginia University. His expertise spans artificial intelligence and machine learning, from model development to deploying production AI systems at scale, with a focus on federal and defense applications. His career includes work at NASA IV&V, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and The Aerospace Corporation. In these roles, he designed and built AI solutions for DoD, IC, NASA, DOE, and NSF sponsors, and advised executive leadership on AI adoption. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and holds two AI patents.
