Kimbrell Larouche is the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Specialist at Holy Cross Energy with the goal of employing the use of more solar energy and battery storage on our grid in a manner that benefits the entire membership. Alongside managing Power+ and Power+FLEX, Holy Cross Energy’s two residential battery programs, on a day-to-day basis Kimbrell is researching new grid technologies, member facing program concepts, and other methods that have potential to drive Holy Cross Energy towards its renewable energy goals. Kimbrell then integrates his findings, along with the other HCE specialists, into actionable programs and projects. Prior to joining Holy Cross Energy in 2022, Kimbrell managed turn-key solar and battery energy storage projects throughout Holy Cross territory and beyond with a local solar contractor.
