Aditie Garg is the Technical Lead for Grid Edge Strategy and Innovations in the Buildings Technologies & Sciences Centre at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), USA. She leads the strategy for building to grid integration, grid-edge and demand flexibility solutions that support a clean electric grid. Prior to this she was with EPRI where she gained rich experience globally in the area of Integration of DER - Distributed Energy Resources. Her research areas include machine learning, optimization, development, and evaluation of techniques for grid awareness, testing, and evaluation of DERMS, control, flexible interconnection of DER. She has been working on grid analytics related to both operation and planning of electric distribution grid. She has chaired panels and been an active contributor to the power systems society. She is an active participant in IEEE and CIGRE and has received multiple awards for her research in the field of energy. She was recently awarded with NGN Significant Contribution Award in the CIGRE Paris 2024 session for her contribution in NGN and prior to that she also was awarded with an honorable mention in the NGN Paper competition in Paris 2022 session. She is currently holds the vice chair position in the NGN Internation Executive Committee and has held multiple positions in the past.
Aditie Garg received her M.Sc. degree with honors in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, US and B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy, India.
Prior to this, she has worked on various projects and was selected in multiple student exchange programs globally.
