Mugunth Vaithylingam is a high-achieving Chief Digital Experience Officer with 20 years of experience leading transformational change in Higher Education. A team-oriented leader who has been driving the direction of technology at the College of Southern Nevada, one of the nation’s largest schools of its kind with 50,000 credit and non-credit students, for more than 10 years.
Mugunth has been honored as the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient at the Nevada Top Tech awards and he was also recognized as the Most Influential Global CIO at the Global CIO Executive Summit. These accolades come, in part, for his community service focus; leading a variety of initiatives that expand learning opportunities in underserved communities and addressing food insecurity. These include a special scholarship fund for homeless youth. Mugunth’s belief in reaching back to elevate others is clear in his culture.
