Marc has a 25+ year career in Technology and Cybersecurity dating back to his service in the US Air Force. He has worked in Silicon Valley performing CyberTech roles, including management, and then at KPMG, a Big 4 firm, in a CyberTech executive consultant role. At the executive management level, currently he is the VP of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity at Crane Worldwide Logistics with responsibilities for 11 different teams and functions across IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. Previously Marc was the CISO/SVP at Woodforest National Bank from August 2012 to June 2021 and has served as a CISO and in the CISO role at a large global CPG company and mid-sized national real estate firm. Marc is the CEO, Founder, for Armida Corporation, a stealth cybersecurity company founded in 2024, and was the CEO, Founder, vCIO/vCISO of CyberFore Systems LLC, a cybersecurity consulting and solutions provider firm he started in 2018.
Marc is pursuing a Master of Science Technology Commercialization at UT Austin, McCombs School of Business and has a Master of Business Administration, Technology, and Strategy from the University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business. He is an alum of the FBI CISO Academy, and has multiple business, including Board, technology, and cybersecurity certifications, including an Artificial Intelligence Design certificate from MIT, an Agentic AI certificate from the Blockchain Council, and a Blockchain Strategy certificate from Columbia University. Marc is a member of the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) and holds the CERT Certificate in Cyber Risk Oversight from the NACD, CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University. He serves on multiple advisory boards for startups, VC firms, and other firms, and the Forbes Technology Council.
Marc is the author of The Cyber War Is Here: U.S. and Global Infrastructure Under Attack, A CISOs Perspective, an Amazon #1 Bestseller and Amazon #1 New Release that was featured on the NASDAQ billboard. He also authored The Coming Cyber War: What Executives, The Board, and You Should Know, which was released in October 2020 and recognized as an Amazon #1 New Release. Marc has been recognized by the Department of Homeland Security for speaking at their Houston Corporate Security Symposium. In April 2025, Marc was awarded the ORBIE Houston CISO of the Year - Enterprise award and in 2026 he is a Finalist for ORBIE National CISO of the Year - Enterprise.
