Dave has 30 years of industrial experience in automation and deriving value from the analysis of operational data. He has designed asset performance monitoring software installed at hundreds of sites and is a recipient of the DG Fisher Award for Process Systems Engineering. Before Uptake, Dave was the Co-founder and CEO of ShookIOT. Earlier in his career, Dave was the CTO at Matrikon and instrumental in the development of its products and solutions, especially those involving complex data analysis and integration of data from multiple sources. Dave holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
