Dr Yetunde Aladeitan is National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE) and an Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering. She is based in Abuja. She lectures in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Abuja, part-time at Petroleum and Gas Engineering Department at Baze University and in the Petroleum Engineering Department at the African University of Science and Technology. She previously served as Director of the Energy Research Centre at the University of Abuja. Alongside her academic work she is Managing Consultant at Klensield Environmental Services Limited and a Director of NOVASPIRE Energy. She began her career in industry as a process engineer. She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, and an advocate for clean energy and for STEM education
