Michael J. Lewis has spent almost half his thirty-six plus year career with Chevron in information security roles, currently as Policy and Framework Advisor within Chevron’s Information Risk Strategy and Management organization. Responsibilities within this role entail researching new security technologies for potential use within the company, understanding the security ramifications of new technologies that Chevron might use, quantitative risk assessment and reviewing/commenting on potential cybersecurity legislation and regulation. Michael is a member of the International Information Integrity Institute (I-4) Member Advisory Committee and also serves as lead of the American Petroleum Institute Information Technology Security Subcommittee Policy Workgroup.
