Rick Sperandio has worked in the Energy Industry for the past 20 years. He is currently the President of US Operations for Rigstar Industrial Telecom. He was the founding executive leader of the USA division which commenced operations in May of 2017. Mr. Sperandio spent ten years of his career with ExxonMobil in multiple leadership roles including leading a team of global project managers of telecommunications and information technology projects across the globe from Arctic Canada to Papua New Guinea. Rick also served as Harris CapRock's Director of Innovation for two years and published a chapter in D.K. Sachdev's book "Recent Successful Satellite Systems: Visions of the Future". Rick has a proven track record of leadership and innovation through his experience in Project Management, Relationship Management, Personal Mentoring, Business Development, Product & Technology Development, and Strategic Leadership & Management. Rick grew up in Houston, TX but lived in Saudi Arabia as a youth and has traveled extensively for work across six continents. Rick volunteers for a variety of industry and charity organizations including serving as a Customer Experience Advisory Panel Member for the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. He serves as a board member for The Periwinkle Foundation (previously as Board President), a non-profit foundation that develops and provides programs that positively change the lives of children, young adults, and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and are cared for at Texas Children’s Hospital.
