Numeric Engineering is a technology-based consultancy firm that provides novel and reliable technical solutions for engineering problems. We have a unique team of engineers, software developers, and automation experts, which gives us the capability to analyze, design, and deploy turnkey solutions completely in-house that otherwise may require the involvement of several larger consultancy groups. Our core capabilities include digital twin development, automation and instrumentation, custom software development, and finite element analysis and high-end simulations. We have a patented computer vision application that is able to track 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) motions of structures in challenging offshore environments. Numeric’s recently developed load management software is one of the few digital twin applications that is functional on offshore Gulf of Mexico. Our automation team is currently working on several instrumentation campaigns that involve vibration monitoring, computer vision, and platform motion/environment tracking. Numeric has developed and deployed a state-of-the-art motion tracking system on a deep-water production facility using IoT technology. One of our latest developments include the implementation of the virtual reality (VR) technology on the 3D point cloud environment of an offshore platform for safety and training purposes. We believe that one of Numeric’s key capabilities is to merge structural and mechanical engineering with novel technologies such as IoT Edge computing, machine learning and virtual reality applications.
