Travis leads Shell’s engagements with local governments, infrastructure operators, and C&I customers in power, mobility, and environment with a clear focus on helping cities navigate the energy transition through integrated urban solutions. Prior to joining Shell, Travis founded Gridling Global, where he advised governments, corporate clients, and investors on resiliency and sustainability strategies for urban developments in the US and Asia. He served as the Senior Infrastructure Advisor at the Boston Planning and Development Agency where he directed infrastructure programs focusing on energy, fiber, water and transit pilot projects in new-development districts and municipal assets. He received a dual master’s degree from MIT in City Planning and Architecture. ****Alternative notes: While at the City of Boston, Travis developed market development strategies for Microgrids and Integrated Utilities Planning that were first of kind in the US leveraging partnership with MIT, the US Department of Energy and US Department of Defense. Travis is a subject matter expert in urban energy systems, microgrid development, and sustainable real estate master planning.
