Anthony Hayes manages the marine terminals group based in Wood’s office in Galway, Ireland. Holding 12 years’ experience in the ports sector, Mr. Hayes has worked on a wide range of large port projects covering the full life cycle from Pre-Feasibility through to Operations & Maintenance on facilities handling Oil, Gas, Bulk, Containers and Petrochemicals. His experience has been global in nature working on projects in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before working in the ports sector, Anthony focussed on civil infrastructure works.

Anthony’s recent experience has included a number of significant projects handling gas and petrochemicals with a particular focus on the design of marine infrastructure for LPG and LNG facilities. This experience has included not only structure design but also product handling interfaces between ship/shore as, navigation assessments and in the last few years supporting port operators and terminal owners on the incorporation of low carbon technologies (e.g. LNG bunkering, shore power etc.) to their operations.
