Floyd Dixon has a combined 40 years of law enforcement and corporate security experience. For the past 15 years, Floyd has served as a Managing Director of Corporate Security for FedEx with oversight of all FedEx Freight security operations. Prior to joining FedEx, Floyd served as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Security for Bank of America where he established an executive protection program for the company’s top level executives.
In 2005 Floyd retired from the U.S. Secret Service after serving for twenty-two years. During his Secret Service career, Floyd served as the Special Agent In Charge of the Oklahoma City Field Office, Assistant Section Chief and Liaison to the FBI’s National Infrastructure Protection Center, two different assignments to the Office of Protective Operations Vice Presidential Protective Division along with investigative assignments in the Charlotte, Washington, DC, Chicago and New York City Field Offices.
Floyd is a past National Chairman of the American Trucking Association’s Transportation Security Council and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as well as Executive Management Training Certificates from Johns Hopkins University and Six Sigma training certificates from Bank of America.
