Jose Rivera is a transportation researcher working with the Mobility Analysis group in TTI. In 2011, he started working for Google as a New Technologies presenters in IT events in Mexico such as This is Google and Aldea Digital. He presented Google’s new products in events that were aimed to business and administration people as well as IT specialists and developers. A year later, he joined BASF, the largest chemical company in the world, as an IT Assistant. Mr. Rivera joined TTI in the Mexico City office in 2013. He started working on border related projects ever since. One of the most important ones is the Border Crossing Information System, which purpose is to measure and estimate commercial border crossing times along the US-Mexico border. When Mr. Rivera started working for TTI, he developed as a software developer. Some of the projects where he was involved utilized a wide variety of technologies such as different web frameworks (ASP.NET, React, Flask and Django), specialized software in C# and Python and automation of tasks. More recently, Mr. Rivera has been doing efforts in data science and analysis. He has been involved in projects relating artificial intelligence technologies, big data and process automation.
