Espen Sivertsen is founder & CEO of Ivaldi Group. Ivaldi Group works with leading players across heavy industry to leverage on-demand manufacturing and cloud inventory solutions to reduce delivery times and carry cost of spare parts logistics by sending files, not parts. From 2013-2016, Espen served as CEO of Type A Machines, a manufacturer of 3D printers and printing solutions. Espen co-founded the company in January 2012. Type A Machines was most known for its award winning Series 1 Pro 3D printers & Print Pod solutions, revolutionizing the industry through cost effective, massively parallel and scalable production systems. With a background in business and psychology, Espen served as Team Leader with the KaosPilots, a Scandinavian school of entrepreneurship described by Fast Company as the “new curriculum for managing change". Prior to this, Espen’s work was oriented around trend spotting as Head of Demolab at iLab, an international knowledge center for new technologies and trends. Together with a former co-worker, he created MemeMaker.com - the first retailer in Denmark focusing on the Arduino prototyping platform. Born and raised in Norway, Espen is an avid traveler and has lived in England, Denmark, Singapore, China, Mexico and most recently with his wife and daughter in Livermore, California.
