David Cordell, Chief Information and Local Agency Security Officer provide the Port of New Orleans with essential computer and security infrastructure. Among his duties as CIO, Cordell currently serves on the advisory board of the Maritime Transportation System - Information Sharing & Analysis Center (MTS-ISAC) and holds several NASA Security Certifications. Prior to joining the Port in 2016, Cordell was a Senior Systems Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) and served as the ARC Information Technology representative on several NASA agency-wide projects. He has worked closely with local and agency security teams and is recognized for his skill set in security and systems integration.
