Jamie Gray-Donald joined QuadReal in February 2017. As Senior Vice President, Sustainability & Environmental, Health & Safety, Jamie finds ways that sustainability practices enhance prudent growth and sustainable returns, from development through to asset management. In his role as leader of QuadReal’s Environmental, Health and Safety team, Jamie works to ensure QuadReal employees have a safe and healthy workplace by quantifying and managing a range of environmental risks, from contaminated soil through to providing training and on-going support.
Jamie was formerly the Vice President of Sustainability at Bentall Kennedy, and the Associate Vice President, Sustainability with Sears Canada. Previously, he held the position of Research Coordinator at the Centre for Sustainable Futures in Plymouth, UK and he worked in the Philippines at the International Rice Research Institute.
Jamie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, a Master’s Degree in Geography from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from McGill University.
