Description
INOVUES is an award-winning window technology company that is focused on building upgrades and energy efficiency retrofits. We have developed a non-intrusive glazing retrofit system, Glazing Shield™, that enables the windows and curtain-walls of existing buildings to be retrofitted with new high-tech glass without removing, replacing, drilling, or altering any of their parts.
We offer building owners a cost-effective and non-disruptive solution to upgrade the facades and windows—whether to bring them up to energy code levels and comply with building efficiency laws or incorporate the latest glass technologies and benefit from advanced features like vacuum insulation, energy harvesting, and dynamic tinting/heat-gain control.
INOVUES Glazing Shields, which can be securely mounted on the original glass internally or externally, can increase window insulation by up to 10 times and reduce energy consumption and peak heating and cooling loads by up to 40%. INOVUES' solution can significantly improve the occupants' thermal and acoustic comfort and enhance the image and sustainability of the building without altering its architectural identity while also providing additional protection to the original windows against windborne debris or forced entry. All of this can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost of window replacement and with no downtime or disruption to the building or occupants, providing up to 10 times faster payback and up to 400% return on investment from energy savings alone.
INOVUES' patented Glazing Shield system has been independently tested per ASTM and AAMA industry standards, and it is currently installed in multiple locations in the United States and soon in Montreal, Canada. INOVUES was recently named to Cleantech Group's 50-to-Watch List for 2019 and was also awarded in the InNOVAte 2019 Challenge out of more than 110 companies from across the globe. In 2018, INOVUES won the Cleantech Open National Award and was selected by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as a finalist in the 76West Clean Energy Competition out of 152 companies. INOVUES is backed by top investors such as Saint-Gobain NOVA, the External Ventures arm of one of the world’s largest building products and materials companies.
