Brittany is passionate about addressing the impacts of climate change in under-served communities by championing equitable solutions and strategies. As a Corporate Environmental Specialist at the City of Calgary, she leads the Energy Equity portfolio where her focus is on developing an Energy Equity Strategy and launching programs that support households facing challenges with home energy efficiency and utility affordability. Before joining The City, Brittany developed and delivered energy efficiency programs at Emissions Reduction Alberta and supported strategic planning efforts at Energy Efficiency Alberta.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys throwing rocks at houses and is a competitive curler, competing in womens and mixed doubles on the provincial and national level.
