Emilie Hayes is the Lead for Sustainable Affordable Housing (SAH) at the Green Municipal Fund, a program of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. In this role, Emilie provides strategic leadership and direction for the SAH initiative, which provides funding and capacity development supports for housing providers to measurably improve the energy efficiency and affordability of existing and new affordable housing units. Previously, Emilie worked for over two decades in a variety of roles in the non-profit sector with a focus on community engagement, community health, and affordable housing advocacy.
