Natalie Irwin is Senior Policy Analyst on the strategic policy and partnerships team at the Office of Energy Efficiency, Natural Resources Canada. No stranger to energy efficiency, Natalie's career spans over a decade in the sector. Before joining the federal government, Natalie was Director of Stakeholder Engagement at Efficiency Canada, the national think-tank, housed at Carleton University where she led the engagement team’s advocacy and outreach efforts. Prior to this, Natalie designed and managed the successful trade-ally program for EfficiencyOne, the franchise holder that operates Efficiency Nova Scotia for the province.
Natalie is also active volunteer and is the proud recipient of the national Chapter Volunteer Leadership Award from the Canada Green Building Council and the Best Super-Connector Award by Halifax Partnership for her work with their connector program that helps new graduates and immigrants find meaningful work in Canada.
Natalie holds a Masters of Sustainable Energy Policy from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University.
