Melanie has led EnviroCentre’s home energy efficiency and conservation programs for nearly 15 years, spearheading prominent home energy efficiency initiatives, and providing input and guidance to best practices in home energy efficiency and retrofits. Her leadership in utility conservation program design and delivery has been instrumental in advancing energy conservation. With over a decade of leadership in energy efficiency programs, Mrs. Johnston has overseen collaborations with over 30 retrofit firms, more than 30 social housing providers, and 20+ regional community organizations. Melanie's team has facilitated energy retrofits for over 30,000 homes throughout Ontario, including 20,000 units of affordable housing.
