What Our Attendees Say

"This was the best conference I have ever attended. The sessions were interesting and dynamic, and as they were so applicable to my role, I brought home many policy and program ideas. The networking opportunities were fantastic, and I can't wait to attend again next year."

"This is my favorite conference and I’m already looking forward to next year. There is such a powerful energy that encouraged cross-sector conversations, information sharing and building community"

"The Canada Home Energy Justice Conference is a fresh and fast-paced take on the established conference formula to bring a plurality of voices and perspectives to the critical topic of energy poverty. While it's still a very new event, it is a critical one and I hope to see it continue and grow into a major industry event over the decade."

"This event brings together a diverse group of committed professionals in a unique and special setting.  It addresses important conversations while seeking ways to break down silos and encouraging new relationships and collaborative opportunities beyond ‘traditional’ approaches."

2026 Conference Topics

2026 Conference Objectives

The conference will again bring together academics, researchers, and professionals who deliver energy efficiency programs to low-income families. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we aim to enhance the effectiveness of initiatives geared towards energy justice. Sector professionals can learn about the latest research and the application of the latest findings to program delivery and best practices in working with vulnerable communities.

Our unique format focuses on translating academic research into actionable strategies for energy efficiency programs. By providing a space where theoretical knowledge meets practical implementation, we strive to maximize the impact of research outcomes on the lives of those most in need. By attending, you will hear from panels and presentations and interact with peers on advancing your chosen real-world issues.
