With great respect for her roots in the Ginaxgiik Tribe (People of the Hemlock) and the Blackfish crest of the Gisputdwada (Killerwhale) Clan, Margaret Pfoh is a proud member of the Tsimshian Nation who has dedicated more than three decades of her life to advancing Indigenous rights and transforming housing systems for Indigenous Peoples across Canada. Margaret is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a recipient of King Charles III’s Coronation Medal. Under her visionary leadership, the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) has solidified its role as a nationally recognized leader in Indigenous housing and was honoured as a 2025 BC Reconciliation Award recipient.
