COLTT 2026 Invites You to Steer into the Slide
Higher education is experiencing many challenges: advances in AI, shifting student expectations, and evolving workforce demands. The Colorado Learning and Teaching with Technology (COLTT) community invites you to join the 2026 conference this August 5th and 6th at CU Boulder, where educators and learning designers from across the CU system and beyond will come together to explore how to navigate uncertainty with purpose and creativity.
This year's theme - steer into the slide - challenges participants to move beyond hesitation and into action - to test ideas, rethink practices, and engage thoughtfully with emerging technologies while keeping the human side of teaching at the center.
COLTT 2026 offers the opportunity to:
- Explore practical strategies for integrating AI and other technologies
- Gain hands-on experience you can apply immediately
- Connect with colleagues across disciplines and campuses
- Share ideas and solutions for teaching in a time of uncertainty
What is COLTT?
For more than 28 years, COLTT has engaged educators in exploring innovative teaching practices and technologies, challenging the way we think about both. While rooted in Colorado, the conference welcomes participants from institutions across the region and beyond. Through sessions and hands-on workshops, attendees connect with colleagues and gather effective practices that transform teaching and learning in classrooms, online, and in virtual environments.
Who is COLTT?
Attendees join us each year from a broad range of educational institutions and private organizations. Many Colorado colleges and universities are well-represented, as are numerous post-secondary schools and community colleges from the Rocky Mountain region.
We also host national and international attendees from a number of places each year. Renewal credit for education is available where applicable, and upon request by attendees.
