Amy McCain is the Dean of Online and an Associate Professor at Murray State College in southern Oklahoma. Over the past six years, she has conducted peer reviews and led workshops, including Improving Your Online Course (IYOC), Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR), and the Teaching Online Certificate (TOC). As the Quality Matters Coordinator for Murray State College, she is dedicated to enhancing online course quality and faculty development.
With 15 years of experience in higher education and more than a decade in online teaching, she remains passionate about online learning. While her administrative role has reduced her teaching load, she still enjoys teaching Child Development, Psychology, and Success Strategies courses online. Her background includes extensive work with children and families, as well as experience in mental health. A lifelong learner, she is committed to supporting faculty and continuously improving the quality of online education.
