Eric Goff heads Goff Policy, an advocacy and advisory shop focused on energy, municipal, and infrastructure policy, with an eye toward the future. Many of his clients have a strategic focus
on energy transition issues. He helps consumers, battery and solar developers, banks and trading shops, utilities, and retailers manage and understand ERCOT markets. Prior to practicing as
an independent consultant, he worked for seven years for Citigroup Energy, and previously worked for NRG Energy, Reliant Energy, and Constellation NewEnergy. He is the past chair of ERCOT subcommittees and working groups, and currently is appointed by the Office of Public Utility Counsel to represent Texas residential consumers at ERCOT.
