Guillermo has nearly 10 years of experience in oil and gas manufacturing, specifically within upstream and midstream manufacturers. He currently holds responsibility over 2 threading productions lines overseeing API and Semi-premium threading for Vallourec in Houston. Prior to his operational responsibilities, he was in charge of the plant’s finances overseeing production budgets and product costing serving as Plant Controller. Before joining Vallourec, he held various positions in project management and manufacturing engineering at Exterran, a leading midstream equipment manufacturer.

Guillermo has a special interest in monetization of data (Infonomics), industrial IoT, and AI within the manufacturing landscape. He has led digital transformation projects at Vallourec- North America along with the region’s first IoT deployment. His unique blend of operational and financial management experience allows him to generate and capture value through data acquisition and applied data solutions.

Guillermo holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University and is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He is also certified in Lean/Six Sigma from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
