David Crawley is Professor of Practice certified as an Innovation Engineering Black Belt and published analyst for emerging markets. He serves the University of Houston College of Engineering as subject matter expert regarding the cognitive disciplines of innovation, workforce upskilling, corporate intelligence and artificial intelligence. His background is industry focused working with energy and engineering companies such as: EXXON, Nabors Industries, KBR, FMC Technologies, Southwestern Energy, and others. His consumer activities involve creating emerging markets for PepsiCo business units in Europe, Mexico, and America that include co-managing the manufacture of Mirinda soft drinks out of Monterrey, Mexico and launching Frito-Lay/Russia. As Deputy CEO for Y&R Advertising he was responsible for the Moscow CIS office reorganization and introducing new products and services in emerging economies. Prior to joining UH he worked with HP global business units developing solution models for population-based computing and VP-Corporate Intelligence for Idoneous Global security and intelligence firm founded by Jim Bernazzani former Deputy Director law enforcement CIA.
