Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is dramatically changing many aspects of work across industries. This session will discuss what it means to be an AI-First Organization, how to set your AI ambition, and how AI is changing the work of the information technologist. Gartner predicts that within this year (2025), 90% of service and support organizations will be using generative AI to improve operational efficiency, and that by 2026, GenAI will facilitate an increased use of other AI technologies (aside from GenAI) by 1,000%. Additionally, by 2028, more than 60% of search engines will be GenAI-driven and conversational, up from less than 20% today. Considering these predictions, we will discuss what we might do to help facilitate our enterprise AI ambition and what we can do as IT professionals, today and tomorrow, to successfully integrate AI into our organizations and into our own work.
